I usually don't have much patience for point-and-click adventure games, but I really enjoyed Blackout. I love the pixel art, and the twist at the end sold it for me. This game is something special.
I couldn't get the safe to accept my code. My code was *6797#, I entered it several times exactly as is and the safe always registered it as incorrect. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Blackout ist ein wirklich hübsches, gut animiertes, kurzes Point & Click Adventure, bei dem man zwar weniger Rätsel wirklich lösen muss, als einfach Dinge einzusammeln die verdammt schwer zu finden und scheinbar auch darauf zu klicken sind. Ich hätte schwören können, dass ich bereits auf das Brecheisen geklickt hatte, was ich sogar mehrmals erwähnte, und dachte, ich hätte es nicht erhalten, weil es wahrscheinlich noch zu dunkel war.
In dem Fall habe ich wohl gefettfingert, aber dennoch wäre etwas entgegenkommen vom Spiel nett gewesen und das hätte mir einiges an herumirren gespart.
Es sieht wirklich gut aus, ich mochte den doppelten Plottwist und gerade zu halloween doch eine nette knappe Stunde Spielinhalt.
I recommend maybe adding a walkthrough? All puzzle games should probably have one available. I... may have had to look up some videos on one particular part since I clicked a bit awry and didn't get a message that would have helped.
Otherwise, love the twist and thought it was very cute! Great art style and fun little game!
After you come inside from the balcony, it's in that room. After he asks for the nic, you go upstairs and find it under the sheets. Then he needs a lighter.
EDIT: Nvm, you don't have to wait until he asks. You can grab the cigarettes as soon as you come in from the balcony.

cute and fun and spooky! the 1 in the combination for the safe looked like a 7 which drove me bananas until I realized that's what was happening.

They are the photos/paintings in the upstairs room. You find them after the lights go on.

I do kinda wish the pointer would change for interactive spots, just makes exploration a little less tedious. But otherwise, spotless game.
