it looks nice but I got stuck a lot and when I looked at the comments for answers it felt weird? not like "oh! how did I not think of that?" more like "what??? I was supposed to do that???" or "but I already tried that?" and a lot of things were kind of awkward like how you have to click twice for the key to appear, how you had to click on a specific part of the bed, how you have to put the stool on the floor instead of clicking the object, etc. I see a lot of people talking about the twist, but I didn't get there so I don't have an opinion.

The stool doesn't interact with items it needs to, only the floor below it. Since I have no idea if this item permanently disappears after it's fully used up, I have no idea if I'm done with it after 2 uses. I've walked entire floors just trying to place the stool on every inch.
Current situation (Game un-beaten): Cant figure out the clock time, Cant figure out the keypad, and stool has been used twice.
I don't want spoilers or even hints outside of the game/in comments. I just want some sort of direction put in. Some of these just don't make sense. (I'm going to be careful here as to not spoil) Can't peel tape off? Can't burn tape off with a lighter? Fire doesn't scare someone? Nor a stool? Or golf clubs? Monsters like beef jerky? I can't make sense of anything when attempting to solve these puzzles because previous ones just make no sense.
Fun game, but:
First, it is hard to figure out a specific place to use the stool, especially since most point and click games would solve this in such a way that you are supposed to use the stool on the object you want to acquire with it.
Second, I stuck with clock puzzle, I don’t know where to find what hour it should be set too.
Third, makes me sad that the heroine thinks she looks terrible, to me, she looks cute.
For people who actually take their time and make a good storymode game and its free too, is amazing. I like the main character in the story. I also like how you guys trick me into thinking man I dont wanna spoil it and the ending is something you guys gotta play to see or watch (very good ending). Games like this are hands down the best on itch.io To the devs you guys did an awesome job.
Great game! I really loved the style and the concept. It was just hard enough that I got stuck but not enough to get annoyed. I played this for about an hour my first time, and then I did a speedrun. It took me a total of 10 minutes and 14.97 seconds! I probobly could've gotten a bit less time but I had to run back upstairs because I forgot the cigarettes! Lmao. Anyways, I really enjoyed this game, keep it up!
This was such a charming game to play! The sound and visual design really gives you Autumn/Halloween vibes, and I loved the story too. Also, the developers are extremely kind! I really hope to see more from them ~ Anyways, here's my play through ^^
This was such a fun game with quite the twist!!! Loved the style, music, and overall gameplay. Please keep making more of these, because I really found myself enjoying (and jumping) a lot more than I expected.

this was awesome, i would love a different ending added where you get the feathers and complete the you know what for you know who down in the you know where just for fun. i loved how everything changed too. im trying not to spoil owt, so soz if i sound cryptic, but if you know you know. anyway loved it, kinda wish id letsplayed it now.

The nicotine are cigarettes. They are under the sheets of the bed in the first room that you enter at the beginning of the game.

Good game but the note with the code is an issue. Certain numbers are not distinct enough from eachother. Could be very frustrating for some.
